The products of the MT series represent the smallest form of temperature protection devices, and are therefore predestined for installation in devices with a minimal installation space. Despite their small size, currents up to 5A can be switched.

In the case of the so-called tube fuses, the current-carrying bridge which is located in the tube, melts from a temperature-specific alloy, and opens the circuit.

Fuses of the MT series are often used as a favourable therm. fuse, or as a signal Generator.
